Calgary’s hiring climate heading into the third quarter of this year appears to be fairly bleak according to a new employment survey released on Tuesday.
The latest Manpower Employment Outlook Survey said Calgary area employers anticipate a “limited” hiring climate in the coming months.
The survey found that 13 per cent of employers plan to hire for the upcoming quarter but 11 per cent anticipate cutbacks. Another 74 per cent plan to maintain their current staffing levels and two per cent are not sure of their hiring intentions. Read more at the Calgary Herald.
