One small, thoughtful gesture can make someone else’s day. On this beautiful April day and in continuing our Acts of Kindness journey, the team at Manpower decided to go out and purchase some backpacks and fill them with some everyday essentials. Leading the charge was our company CEO Randy Upright and Client Relations Leader Ahmed Borhot who filled some durable backpacks with goodies like socks, toothbrushes, toothpaste, nutritious snack bars, juice boxes, and band aids. We strolled outside for a beautiful walk in the sun and found the perfect tree on 8th avenue to tie our backpack to the tree with a friendly note to anyone in need, that this backpack was there for them. This is the first of many backpacks to be randomly placed in the coming weeks.

In recognizing that there are many people in need of basic essentials in our community, we hope that with this random Act of Kindness, we were able to make a difference to someone’s life, even if it’s just to put a smile on their face.

Stay tuned to our blog – there will be more on our journey to spread Acts of Kindness coming soon!
