Staffing for Canada Week 2016

This week was Staffing for Canada Week! Each year at the beginning of June, Manpower joins ACSESS (the Association of Canadian Search, Employment and Staffing Services) and its other member companies to celebrate Staffing for Canada Week. Recognized across North America by local and national dignitaries, our Prime Minister of Canada, and our Provincial Premiers, it is an opportunity to celebrate the value of the staffing industry to our economy and communities.

Staffing for Canada week is a great opportunity to recognize and thank our talented team of individuals across our company, who not only want to match the right people to the right role, but who also strive every day to provide an exceptional experience for all visitors to Manpower offices.

Providing exceptional experiences to our team means going above and beyond our call of duty, to find out what will leave a lasting impression on those we meet. It’s even sometimes about rolling up our sleeves to help with cleanup projects, ensuring the wellbeing and safety of our associates, working whatever hours we need to get the job done, and doing what we can, where we can. We know that looking for work, especially in an economy such as this, isn’t always the easiest thing. Staffing providers like Manpower are here to help those looking for work connect with the right opportunities; we don’t want you to just have a job, we want you to do what you love and love what you do!

Throughout the year, we receive many notes of thanks to our team for changing lives, listening, paying attention, being there, and for treating job seekers as a person, not just a number; even for simple things like returning a phone call or providing advise on how to make yourself more marketable or helping to format a resume. These notes come not just from our candidates, but from our clients as well, who recognize that our efforts towards building relationships and attracting the right talents, has helped their businesses succeed. At Manpower, staffing is not about “filling and billing”, it’s about creating experiences some never thought they would have or need; it’s about connecting individuals to worlds they never thought they could connect with or seeing possibilities they didn’t know existed.

We also want to take this opportunity to thank the hundreds of associates we have working at our client sites and representing Manpower. We wouldn’t be here without all of your great work and dedication! Thank you to our clients as well, with whom we have the pleasure of partnering to make the world of work a better place every day!

Happy Staffing for Canada Week!!
