Manpower Employment Outlook Survey (MEOS)

Each quarter, the Manpower Employment Outlook Survey measures hiring confidence among approximately 66,000 employers in 42 countries and territories. The survey has been running for over 50 years and is one of the most trusted surveys of employment activity in the world. To understand the impact of talent shortages on companies, we surveyed nearly 40,000 employers in 43 countries. We asked how much difficulty they are having filling roles compared to last year, which hard skills and human strengths are most elusive, and what they are doing to solve talent shortages and find the employees they need.
