Opportunities Knock clients are from diverse groups including, but not limited to, the following: suitable for entry-level jobs, professional or highly skilled positions requiring degrees and other credentials, immigrants, youth, older workers and aboriginal people.

To be eligible for the Opportunities Knock Program you must meet the following criteria:

• Are a current resident of Alberta

• Have a realistic and attainable career goal

• Have appropriate language skills for the occupation

• Are motivated to succeed

• Have minimal or low barriers to employment

• Have stability in personal and family life

• Be able to work in Canada as a citizen or permanent resident
