Many Indigenous people want to work, but face challenges in finding gainful employment. Many employers want to hire while increasing diversity in their workplace, but can't find people with the skill sets they need. That's why Redstone was created – to determine current and future skills gaps, identify Indigenous people who need help entering the workforce, and apply our expertise to create solutions that benefit both job seekers and employers. That's the heart of the Redstone initiative.


Redstone is a collaborative venture of Manpower Group and Mosaic Communications. For more than 60 years, Manpower has been guided by the belief that there's a role for every individual in the world of work. HOW DO I FIND A JOB THROUGH REDSTONE?

The first step in starting your job search is to register and create your profile.  Visit our website manpowerab.com or you can visit our portal site at manpower.ca.  There you can search for the latest job opportunities.  Manpower also welcomes you to visit our office locations, also noted on the website at manpowerab.com  - Redstone is a working component of Manpower and Mosaic.  Manpower connects the job seeker to opportunities and highlights for clients the available talent to meet their needs.  In addition, through the Redstone initiative, providing us with your resume and experience assists Manpower to determine where additional skill acquisition may help job seekers become more competitive in their job search.  Did you know that upskilling through our PowerYou program is provided at no cost to the Redstone job seeker?

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO AFTER SUBMITTING MY RESUME?

Redstone’s highest priority is to put talented people like you to work.  If your skills are a match for our client’s needs, a Manpower/Redstone representative will contact you about next steps.  If there are any updates on your experience, contact information, job seeking intention, etc., please update your profile so we’ll have the most current information and can place you on the most suitable assignments.  Also, upskilling through our PowerYou program is provided at no additional cost. 

WHAT TYPES OF POSITIONS ARE AVAILABLE?

Redstone offers permanent, temporary and temporary to permanent employment opportunities for a wide range of skill sets and in a variety of industries.  Our goal is to determine your best match opportunities and, when indicated, help you with the upskilling that will prepare you for future opportunity.    

WHAT DO I DO AFTER I FINISH AN ASSIGNMENT?

Your representative will be aware of your status and will continuously work to place you on new assignments.  Please let us know if there is any change in your availability, and remember to provide us with updates to your profile to include your recent job experience and any new skills you’ve gained.

DO I HAVE TO PAY TO FIND WORK WITH REDSTONE?

No.  Manpower, Mosaic and the Redstone project work on your behalf to place job seekers with some of Canada’s most admired companies – at no charge.  We should reference that Service Alberta’s Employment Agency Business License Regulation prohibits employment agencies from directly or indirectly demanding or collecting a fee, reward or other compensation.

DOES REDSTONE CONTINUE TO SUPPORT ME AFTER I START A JOB?

Yes.  Through Redstone we have additional support services available to continue to not just support you through your temporary assignment or through the first period of your permanent placement, but to continue to work with you to provide the upskilling and next skill preparation to help you succeed.
